Spring tour of Mojoca

Gerard Lutte and Sheath are Spring Tour Italy Guevara 2018 and the 2 and 3 May to Naples for a fairer world and to build a network of solidarity and commitment.
The Mojoca, Movimiento Jovenes de la Calle, is the movement of young people of Guatemala (one of the most violent countries in the world), founded in Guatemala City by Gerard Lutte, Belgian, Salesian, today ……. ottantanovenne.
Gerard, animator in Rome, in the years ' 70, popular school in the Township of Pratorotondo and later of social activity in Magliana neighborhood (where were you transferred the borgatari of Pratorotondo), was teacher of developmental psychology at the Lateran University and at the Sapienza University of Rome. In 1993 Gerard goes to Guatemala for a sociological research on the phenomenon of street children. By collecting the life stories of girls and boys and the observation that educational institutions used a methodology not involved young people in decisions and not tended to develop in their critical spirit, Gerard Lutte establishes with girls and boys a friendship, trying to provide their support for the realization of their dreams
(see article on educational cooperation n 4/2016 (https://bit.ly/2FjbZBw)

At their request, Decides to stay in Guatemala City and to give life to Mojoca, movement that has this year made 25 years.
The experience of Gerard and of street children of Guatemala also remembers the experience gained over the years in Naples 50/60 by Mario Borrelli with street urchins. (https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mario_Borrelli)
Today there are many young men and women who have managed to break free and now operate independently on the move; Some have become teachers of other young, helping to fight fatalism, poverty, drugs and violence are daily subjected. To Mojoca there is a pastry shop, a pizzeria, a sewing workshop… and a House 8 March welcomes mothers with their small.
Friendship, awareness, study and work are the cornerstones of Mojoca, who has a friendship network in Belgium and Italy with AMISTRADA Association support / solidarity Mojoca (http://www.amistrada.net/I/index.htm)
Even in Naples was formed a group (attached flyer) which he has supported and still supports Gerard Lutte and his movement with different initiatives of solidarity, including the public debate with Alex Zanotelli in 2016
